Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey
About the Press Ganey Satisfaction Survey
CHI Mercy Health measures various aspects of patient satisfaction. To support our efforts to promote patient satisfaction and improved patient care, we have engaged an independent patient satisfaction company, Press Ganey of South Bend, Indiana. For more than 25 years, Press Ganey has been the industry’s recognized leader in healthcare patient satisfaction. Press Ganey works with more than 10,000 healthcare organizations nationwide, including 50 percent of all U.S. hospitals.
Who Receives the Survey?
Press Ganey generally sends survey forms to patients via paper mail or email within a few days of their appointment. Patients are asked to complete the survey and provide comments regarding specific aspects of care. We use this feedback to improve all aspects of the hospital experience. Our goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional experience of care.
Do You Post All Comments?
We are committed to posting unedited feedback, both positive and negative. However, we do not post comments that: (i) include identifiable personal information; (ii) include feedback about another provider or department; or (iii) contain defamatory, profane, racist, or objectively offensive language. We also do not post comments that contain information which is the subject of ongoing legal review, or comments that raise other unique concerns.
