Governing Board of Directors

The CHI Mercy Health Board of Directors consists of ten members representing a cross section of local residents, women religious, and Catholic Health Initiatives. The board has fiduciary responsibility for the quality, legal compliance and financial/business performance of the hospital as well as for hiring the hospital administrator. They meet four times per year, or more as needed, to assess strategic direction, mission compliance, and monthly performance as compared to established benchmarks. They also routinely evaluate legal compliance, human resources management, medical staff relations, community needs, and new business lines.
