For the past 23 years, the Festival of Trees (Holiday Extravaganza), has been an instrumental source of funding for CHI Mercy Health.  The generosity from individuals in our community along with area businesses have allowed the hospital to purchase vital equipment – which ensures we are able to provide high-quality healthcare to our community.  Recently, CHI Mercy Health and the Foundation Board decided to revitalize our annual charity event.

Introducing our new Annual Charity Event: Oktoberfest!!

The event will continue to be at the Valley City Eagles Club on a new date – Friday, October 25, 2019.  Please join us for a relaxing night of giving and entertainment which will include – Dueling Pianos by Fun Pianos, an hors d’ oeuvre buffet, silent auction, and raffle boards.

Through your support at last year’s fundraiser, CHI Mercy Health Foundation was able to raise over $15,000 for the purchase new ceiling lifts which will be installed this summer in Patient Care Unit Rooms. Thank you!

This year our fundraising goal is to raise $25,000 for the purchase of an Arjo Rhapsody Bathtub System and patient lift. This system is essential for improving patient care for individuals who are affected by reduced mobility and/or age-related health challenges. It is ergonomically designed for patient handling, personal hygiene, and the prevention of pressure injury for our patients along with ensuring the safety of our staff.  We are committed to safe and dignified personal care – our patients and staff continue to be our top priority!
