Designation Descriptions

Area of Greatest Needs
A gift to our Area of Greatest Need allows us to fully fund Board-approved projects for our Valley City hospital. Your generous giving can be utilized by any department within the hospital or put towards any initiative deemed a greatest need for our community.
Debbie Gabel Memorial Cancer
Contribute to building a much-needed chemo infusion center at CHI Mercy Hospital. This fund will also support the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, staff training, and expanding services related to cancer treatment and prevention.
Patient Life-Saving Equipment
Distance is North Dakota’s biggest barrier in health emergencies—which is why we plan to upgrade our hospital’s lifesaving patient equipment. Your gift helps ensure we can provide every patient with high-quality services and the best possible outcomes.
Mercy Scholarships
Our Mercy Scholarship initiative financially assists individuals pursuing education in the medical field. This effort is a collaboration with CHI Mercy Hospital staff members to promote medical careers that benefit our hospital and Valley City community.
Outdoor Beautification
First impressions mean everything and we are giving our hospital entrance a face-lift. Help beautify our outdoor space with refreshed landscaping and plantings for all to enjoy.
